Hongsi~♥ Today I prepared a fresh raw salmon and raw flatfish. Firstly, I will have a flatfish. 쌈장(Ssamjang) Take the first bite Hongsi. I can feel the fish’s nutty oil every time I chew. I personally think the fin parts of flatfish is the best part. The fin part meats are more chewy and oily so it’s one of the popular parts for raw fish in Korea. Ssamjang is made with ssamjang sauce, crushed garlic, cheong yang pepper, and sesame oil mixed all together. Horseradish sauce Salmon noodle~ (≧▽≦) One of my subscribers recommended me this so I tried. Allium Chinese The texture is soft because it’s a thin noodle shape. This is way more delicious than I thought. Wasabi ♪(Every part of my body are shouting out of joy)♪ I recommend it to Hongsi as well. I had cut the flatfish thick at home. Because it’s thick, the rich flavor and the chewy texture has doubled. Flatfish is one of Korean’s most favorite when it comes to raw fish dishes. As its English name is called ‘flatfish’, it’s a very flattened fish. If you dip it in a soy sauce, you can feel flatfish’s original taste better. ※ Wasabi might be too spicy so be careful. Pickled ginger A cold charactered raw fish is good to be eaten with a warm charactered ginger or wasabi. Seagrapes This crunchy texture goes well with the raw fish. I had cut salmon thick and long. The texture is softer since I didn’t separate the salmon belly part but I’m eating it together. Because I have so many salmon and flatfish in front of me, I keep on smiling just looking at it (´∀`)♡ This time put radish sprout and wasabi together on top of salmon~ Eating salmon and flatfish together is also delicious. I could say it’s a chewy-soft texture. It could be unfamiliar but ssamjang sauce and raw fish are a good combination together. Especially it goes well with a nutty white meat fish.
