Good day AniMalupet viewers! we’re now here at Mahayahay, Lingig, Surigao del sur together with my brother, father, auntie, and uncle. We’re now going to catch snake-head and freshwater eel. We’ll used wood as our fishing rod its the traditional way of catching fish. We’ll be using number 8 fishing line. This is the hook we will used number 545. We will use chicken skin for our bait. We finished preparing our fishing rod at 1:00 pm and we will drop now the hooks. We’ll just put the bait at the edge and we’ll be back after two hours. Before anything else, shout out to Thank you so much for watching my videos. We have drop 8 baits all in all we will come back later after two hours. While waiting, we will be cooking banana (sweet plantain). After two hours, we take a look at the trap and it catch one in our first trap. Eel This is all we had caught. We are going to cook one snakehead and one eel and the rest will be bought at home. We cut the eel and divided it and we remove the bone. These are the ingredients the snakehead fish will be cooked for fillet. and the eel divided and remove the bones. We marinate the eel and snakehead in soy sauce, lemon, and salt. and place it in the flour. after we put flour we add egg and mixed. I will fry first the snakehead Next we’ll cook the sauce for our eel put first the onion Garlic Ginger Black beans Red bell pepper Chili Soy sauce water cornstarch dissolved in water. Here is the fried eel. Place the sauce on the top. Let’s eat!

  4. That's how we used to fish in the farm in Samar. Simple but effective way of fishing. No need for expensive fishing poles and reels. I have never used chicken skin for bait though, just worms. Just subscribed!

  11. Halwan I think it's philippine mudfish… there is a difference between mudfish and snakehead… snakehead is an alien fish while the mudfish is a native fish in the philippines.

  12. Mabuti sa lugar nyo madami pang isda sa ilog.. sa amin paubos na.. wala ng isda sa ganyan kababaw na tubig.. salot kasi yung mga gumagamit ng lason at kuryente panghuhuli.
