Creamy Garlic Salmon

How are you? do like to eat fish? if you’re one of our friends who loves fish, this video is for you because we’ll cook Creamy Garlic Salmon here are the ingredients for this recipe salmon fillet we also need cherry tomato spinach onion, chopped garlic, minced parmesan cheese heavy whipping cream white wine, butter, cooking oil, salt and ground black pepper here is the list of ingredients with their respective measurements are you ready? Come with me as I cook salt the salmon before frying rub the salt on both sides of the salmon let it stay for 10 min to let the salmon absorb the salt flavor pre heat pan with cooking oil once the cooking oil is hot, fry the salmon place the salmon one by one on the pan to fry it be careful because the salmon is moist if it’s watery, the water will cause oil splatter while frying you may use you hands to place the salmon but if not, you may use a spatula I’m used to frying so a little oil splatter is alright for me. But if you’re a newbie, you use something long like tong or spatula then use a splatter screen to reduce the oil splatter after frying one side for 2-3 min., flip it and continue frying the other side this is very simple. We just need to fry the salmon once we’re done frying, transfer to a clean plate we’ll put this back once we’re done with the creamy sauce so transfer it to a plate and set aside first we can discard the cooking oil but use the same pan so we can make use of the salmon flavor we’ll use this in cooking creamy garlic sauce let’s use butter instead of cooking oil add butter and let it melt once butter has melted, saute the onion mix after 20-30 sec add garlic here goes the minced garlic then continue to saute it’s better if we make the garlic a bit brown while we cook the onion once we’re done, let’s move to the next step this is what I’m telling you, the garlic is brownish and the the onion is soft let’s add white wine I’m using Sauvignon Blanc, you can use Chardonnay or Pinot Grigio mix then let it simmer put the sliced cherry tomatoes you may also use grape tomato, just make sure it’s a sweet type of tomato cover the pot then continue cooking until wine has reduced to half don’t worry, the alcohol evaporates while cooking you’ll not get drunk once the alcohol evaporated, the flavor will remain that makes our dish delicious it’s ready, mix it let’s add the ingredient that makes our dish creamy I’m referring to the heavy whipping cream pour carefully then mix at this point, lower down the heat set between low to medium heat then add the grated parmesan cheese parmesan cheese adds flavor and creaminess to our dish that’s why sometimes, we don’t need to add salt anymore because parmesan cheese is salty it’s still up to you. So taste the sauce first to know if we still need salt and ground black pepper, so we can adjust the seasonings at this point, we can now add the fried salmon the sauce will be more flavorful because of the salmon’s flavor it’ll be more rich, creamy and flavorful I cook the salmon in the sauce for about 3 minutes then let’s season that’s why it’s important to taste it prior seasoning so we can know what’s missing add ground black pepper for me the saltiness is enough so I don’t need to add salt anymore mix then add the spinach here goes the baby spinach to make it easier to mix, cover the pot first the spinach shrinks when cooked once it shrinks, it’ll be easier to mix cover and cook for 30 sec., you’ll notice it will shrink right away once the spinach is like that, it’ll be easier to mix at this point, turn off the heat let the residual heat cook the spinach mix make sure the spinach is well blended with the sauce and other ingredients see, the heat is off then transfer to a serving plate and serve here’s our creamy garlic salmon let’s eat! come let’s taste our creamy garlic salmon the sauce alone is already great let’s try the sauce let’s get spinach and tomato mmm~ delicious it’s so creamy and flavorful now I want to try the salmon and see how it tastes everything in here.
