‘Eighth Grade’ Elsie Fisher Apologizes to Her Real Teacher for Filming Homework Delay | Oscars
– [Reporter] Elsie, thank
you so much for joining us on the red carpet, so first reactions, how are your first Oscars so far? – I mean, it’s been pretty
short so far, but great. It’s been very nice, it’s
like temperature-wise, it’s very good, just good vibes. – Which is important.
– Absolutely. – [Reporter] So what are
you most looking forward to from the ceremony, are
there any performances? – Oh, I mean, all the
performances, Bradley and Lady doing Shallow, I am going to die and cry, so this makeup is not going
to look nice for long. – [Reporter] And Eighth Grade
has had such a wonderful and long run from Sundance to here. What does it mean that
awards season is finally coming to an end? – I mean, I’m feeling a lot of things, it’s hard to describe. I’m a little sad that I don’t get to ride with this awesome film anymore,
but excited for new stuff and I mean to work with
new people, and yeah, I mean, just to come to all
these shows, by the way, is amazing, especially tonight. This is like a grand finale, you know? – [Reporter] Definitely,
and tomorrow, when all this is over, are you doing anything to relax? – School work. I’m like a month behind on homework so I am sorry, Miss Herrera. – Geometry, here you come.
– Yeah. – Well thank you so much and
have such a wonderful night tonight.
– Thank you very much.
