Fisher Museum: Fall 2018 Exhibitions
Hi, welcome to the USC Fisher Museum! My name
is Valentina Maio and I’m the communications coordinator here. We are
really excited to announce our two exhibits this fall. Justin Guariglia’s
Earth Works: Mapping the Anthropocene and Janet Sternberg’s Limbus.
Justin Guariglia’s Earth Works: Mapping the Anthropocene is a really cool exhibit
that showcases 24 of his works both print and photographs that were taken on
his trips with NASA to Greenland to measure records of climate change.
Janet Sternberg’s Limbus explores her relationship with the word “limbus” and
the idea of the metaphors of boundaries. She takes these photographs with low
res cameras to reflect the meaning behind the word limbus. Both shows are
running from September 15, 2018, to December 8, 2018. Please come join us
here at Fisher and check out these shows. We’re open Tuesday through Friday from
12:00 to 5:00 and Saturdays from 12:00 to 5:00.
