GNC Fish Body Oils 1000 | Fasting Bro Reviews – Episode 2

Hey everyone. A.A. Hadi. Fasting Bro. Episode 2 of Fasting Bro Reviews. Today, I’m going to review GNC’s Fish Body Oils 1000. There are many types of fish oils on the market. The cheapest, basic one usually has 300 milligrams of omega 3. 180 EPA, 120 DHA. There are others with higher omega 3 contents such as
Cod Liver Oil, Salmon Oil, or if some fish oils have “Double Strength” on the labels,
the omega 3 contents are usually higher. Fish Body Oils 1000 from GNC, falls under the basic 300 milligrams omega 3 category. Fish Oils, in my opinion, can get a bit expensive,
especially if you take into account the amount of EPA/DHA requirements you need to take daily. Omega 3 acids are important for health and muscle building, which I’m going to briefly address in this video. But you can only spend so much on supplements. Why do we need fish oils?
Why are they so important? Well, the short answer for that is fish oils
contain omega 3 fatty acids. You can get omega 3 from other sources like
flax seed and so on. But compared to flax seed,
it is signifcantly cheaper to get your omega 3 from fish or fish oil. I’m gonna give you 3 brief reasons why Fish Oil’s omega 3 fatty acids are so
important to add into your diet. Fish oil helps to lose fat. It activates fat burning cells in our body. Fish oil helps to build muscle. It decreases cortisol and this leads to anabolic effect and can
promote muslce building. Fish oil improves insulin sensitivity and
metabolism. And this greatly helps point number 1 and
number 2. And now, let’s move on to my review of GNC
Fish Body Oils 1000. I am in no way shape or form affiliated with
GNC. I’m reviewing this product simply because
I’ve been using it for the past few years. Fish Oils are one of those supplements
which you can’t really see the obvious effects, because the work is being done inside your
body. So I can’t really say much about it. But to me, fish oils are just like a multivitamin, but a multivitamin is more into improving
the health side of the body, while fish oil contributes more into fat burning
and muscle building cells. I’ve been taking this exact fish oil brand
from January 2013. On normal days, I take 3 softgels,
giving me about 900 milligrams of omega 3. When my cutting cycle has 2 weeks left,
and whenever I’m on PSMF, I take 6 softgels, giving me about 1,800 milligrams of omega 3 fatty acids. I would say it does help promote fat loss during my entire transformation, because if it didn’t, why do I continue to spend money on it even up till today? Studies have backed it up from time to time. Taste-wise, the softgels taste fishy, as you can imagine,
just like fish eggs, I guess. Yuck. I can’t give any comparisons because I have not tried other brands.
But beware, if you burp,
the strong fish taste is definitely not desirable. I advice taking this fish oil with food
so that the burp taste won’t be so bad. So why buy from GNC?
There are other cheaper brands that sell their fish oil with the same amount of omega 3 fatty acids. Like I said in the first episode of Fasting
Bro Reviews, I’m being very picky about my supplements, and this is due to my religious belief. I only consume Halal, vegan or vegetarian supplements. And the case with GNC, I have approached them
and they showed me Halal certification from IFANCA
that their softgels are made from bovine gelatins. Now I can’t prove this because I didn’t
make copy of the certification, but I’m sure if you approach the salesperson
at your local GNC store, they will be happy to show the appropriate
certifications to you. And now,
here are the complete supplement information, courtesy of gnclivewell.com.my I just want to give you guys an update. I discovered another brand
that has 3 times the amount of omega 3 fatty acids
than GNC Fish Body Oils 1000. It’s liquid,
and has almost 100 servings per bottle, and best of all it is twice cheaper! The manufacturer’s facility is Organic & Kosher certified,
so I’m pretty sure this one is halal too. I’ve ordered some
and in future video, I will reveal it to you guys,
and then do a review. Alright guys,
I’m gonna head back, to my cave,
now. And continue fasting. I’ll see you in the next video. Live Longer
