Hatsune Miku – Fish of Spring (春のサカナ) by Katou Taiki

Fish of Spring
(haru no sakana) Dedicate flowers for our days. You are splendid.
(hibi ni hana wo, kimi wa hana) It feels like a lie, not at all real,
(uso mitai na ohanashi no you ni) That I fell into a fleeting love.
(boku wa awai koi ni ochita) That I fell a long, long ways down the hole.
(nagai nagai ana ni ochita) For the withered morrow, dedicate dew.
(kareta asu ni uruoi wo) Tears dried up, we laughed, “It’s all over,”
(namida karete mou dame to warai) You and I, we laughed together.
(kimi to futari warai dashita) I’ll never call for help.
(tasukete to wa iwanai sa) “Once put into words,
(“ieba sou.) That’s it.”
(soko made sa”) My own lie
(haru no omoi ni) To memories of spring.
(uso wo tsuita) “Even if you cry,
(“naita tte kitto) That’s all it’ll come to.”
(sore made da”) The fish of spring
(haru no sakana wa) Sprang away,
(tondeita,) Is all.
(dake sa) Dedicate flowers for our days. You are splendid.
(hibi ni hana wo, kimi wa hana) It feels like a lie, not at all real,
(uso mitai na ohanashi no you ni) That I fell into a fleeting love.
(boku wa awai koi ni ochita) This here’s the March, of spring.
(koko wa haru no sangatsu da) The sounds dissolved in the breezes
(kaze ni toketa oto dake ga) Alone know our whereabouts.
(bokura no yukue wo shitteiru) The snow in spring,
(haru ni futta yuki dake sa) It’s the only thing that remembers us.
(bokura wo oboeteiru no wa) The scrapes from when I fell and tumbled,
(koronde kitta kizuato mo) The fetters entwined through the days of my life:
(nichijou ni karanda shigarami mo) At 3 P.M. on a spring day,
(haru no hi no gogo sanji) With you,
(kimi to ireba,) I can forget them all.
(wasureru sa) It was such a tranquil spring.
(odayaka na haru deshita,) Such a tranquil spring
(odayaka na haru deshita) I wave back to the fish of spring
(haru no sakana ni te wo futte) For, you see, once again,
(boku wa, mata sa) I’m still walking.
(aruiteru) Fish of Spring
(haru no sakana) Composer: Katou Taiki Art: Kafuka
