How To Make Fish Tacos With Avocado-Mango Salsa


This is how you make Fish Tacos with Avocado
and Mango Salsa. Combine the mango, avocado, red onion, cilantro, garlic, and lime juice
in a medium size bowl. Give it a good stir with a spoon. If you want to add a bit of
heat to the salsa, stir in a few drops of hot sauce as well. When it’s all mixed together,
put it aside for later. Next, slice the cod into strips. If you can’t
get cod, you can use haddock or flounder instead. Put the strips on a plate and season them
with chile powder and salt. Rub the spices in, making sure you cover all the fish. Melt
the butter or margarine in a 12 inch non-stick skillet over medium high heat and cook the
fish. They’ll need about four minutes in the pan. You’ll know they’re done when they’ve
browned a bit and flake when pushed with a fork. Spoon the fish into warmed tortillas
and top with the avocado and mango salsa. Fold them up and stack them on a plate, ready
to serve.
