  8. my family makes it with pork and pork fat pieces (basically chicharrones), tomato, raisins, plums, rice, though no potatoes (iirc). and we make the masa with lard bc when we eat nacatamales it ain't to be healthy!

  22. 1 paquete de hojas de plátanos sí o sí no "o ya sea la hoja" y la paprika o achiote es para dar color no sabor 😉. Ah y se usa manteca de cerdo no aceite! 2 ramos de hierba buena no 4 hojitas!
