This is ife of ife360tv and I am back with
another video today I am going to show you how I prepare aloe vera gel for my DIY recipes. I have an aloe Vera plant that I bought a
few months ago, I am living in China and I have an indoor aloe plant which I take care
of and I use for my DIY, homemade aloe recipes. I am going to show you how I prep a little
bit at a time rather than doing an entire leaf I am going to show a smaller amount. I am going to cut 2 to 3 inches of an aloe
leaf and I am going to show you I prepare it. I am going to slice the edges that are very
sharp. Next, the flatter side of the aloe leaf you
want to cut the skin off. Be careful with your fingers, if you need
to use a cutting board feel free to do so. Next, I use a spoon to gently scoop the gel
out of the remaining portion of the leaf. Grab your blender, add your gel into the cup
so that we can start blending. I usually add one teaspoon of water to help
with blending the aloe vera juice. Grab a bowl and muslin cloth and some clothes
pins to secure the muslin cloth to the bowl. Strain the gel, this is important if you are
going to use the aloe gel and juice in your hair. You do not want to skip this part, unless
you are ok with spending a very long time trying to get those gel particles out of your
hair. This part is highly recommended and very important. Once you think that you’re done you can remove
the clothes pins slowly, I usually grab opposing corners and that makes it very easy to remove
the cloth. There is some juice left in the cloth so gently
massage the juice out and squeeze until you have gotten all of it. You’re going to be left with some gel particles
in the cloth but now you have aloe vera juice to use in your DIY recipes. I want to know from you. What’s your favorite way to use aloe vera
juice or gel in your DIY recipes?. This is ife of ife360TV, thanks for watching
and see you in the next one. Ciao!
