The Ultimate Spanish Tuna with Peppers and Onions


There is nothing better than a simple and healthy dish that’s loaded with flavors and done in under 30 minutes bienvenidos welcome to Spain on a Fork today we’re making the most incredible Spanish Tuna with Peppers and Onions this dish is very easy to make has an amazing flavor to it and it’s done in under 30 minutes the perfect dish for one of those busy weeknights or for a weekend lunch plus it’s naturally gluten free and low carb now to make this dish make sure you use a good quality Spanish paprika as it’s going to flavor the entire dish I’m gonna be using Kiva’s sweet smoked Spanish paprika this is an incredible Spanish paprika you guys will find a link in the description box below where you guys can get this alright folks let’s get started grab 3 large cloves of garlic remove the skins thinly slice the garlics grab 1/2 an onion remove 2 of the outer layers for better texture thinly slice the 1/2 onion grab 1 red bell pepper and 1 green bell pepper cut the head of the bell pepper and slice down to get 2 large strips (1/2 bell pepper) cut each piece in half and thinly slice grab 2 tuna steaks (mine where frozen and thawed) pat dry with paper towels cut each steak into 1-inch thick pieces and then cut each piece in half and add to a bowl add 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil to the tuna season with sea salt and freshly cracked black pepper mix together until well combined heat a nonstick fry pan with a medium heat 2 minutes later add the tuna to the pan mix around and cook for 2 minutes after 2 minutes transfer the tuna to a bowl cover with foil paper to keep warm using the same pan with the same heat add 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil and add the sliced garlics sliced onions and mix with the oil 3 minutes later add the sliced bell peppers and mix with the onions and garlic 4 minutes later add 1 teaspoon of smoked paprika season with sea salt and freshly cracked black pepper mix together until well combined then add 1/2 cup canned diced tomatoes season again with sea salt and freshly cracked black pepper mix together until well combined and lower the fire to a LOW heat then add the tuna back into the pan and gently mix together until well incorporated cook for 2 minutes to heat the tuna then transfer to shallow bowls to serve garnish with fresh parsley ok guys our dish is done how easy was it to make this let´s give it a try and see how it taste let me get some veggies on that bite alright here we go that was a very greedy bite but it´s so good what an amazing flavor to this dish that tuna is perfectly cooked along with the veggies and that smoked paprika just really shines through you guys saw it very easy to make done in under 30 minutes the perfect dish for any occasion if you enjoyed today´s video hit that like button leave me a comment below and if you´re not subscribed smash that subscribe button until the next time…Hasta Luego!!
