IT IS A MESS ALONG A STILL STREAM IN VIRGINIA BEACH. WEST NECK CREEK IS LITTERED WITH HUNDREDS OF DEAD FISH, AND THE CITY HAS NOW SUMMONED THE DEPARTMENT OF ENVIROMENTAL QUALITY TO INVESTIGATE. WE SENT 10 ON YOUR SIDE’S BRETT HALL OUT TO THAT STREAM TO HAVE A LOOK AS WELL. WHAT DID YOU FIND? (BRETT) WE FOUND WHAT LOOKS LIKE WATER YOU CERTAINLY WOULDN’T WANT TO SWIM IN CONCERNED—THIS BODY OF WATER HAS LONG BEEN CONCERN FOR EVIRONMENTAL AND HEALTH LEADERS. IN THE PAST REPORTS FROM VIRGINIA’S DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY HAVE CITED LOW DISSOLVED OXYGEN IS A CHRONIC PROBLEM FOR THE WATERWAY. BUT TODAY WOULD ELIOT ALSO NOTICED.   1. Does the reporter really think we swim in West Neck Creek this time of year??? It's water moccasin season. they're everywhere, and EXTREMELY aggressive this time of year. Not a good idea to put in people's heads who don't know any better
